Who We Are

Sweet Connections is a local family-owned business established in 2008 in the heart of San Bruno Downtown.

Our vision is to provide an inviting and safe family-friendly environment for our guests to come together for “sweet” conversations.

In addition to private event rentals, we sponsor family-friendly public events for the community.

Giving Back

Part of why we decided to open Sweet Connections was to use our shop to give back to our local community.

Every year, since June 2009, we have hosted and sponsored a summer academic enrichment program for local elementary and middle school students called BoostKids.

BoostKids has roots as an academic literacy-centered program and has now evolved into a STEM/coding program. BoostKids gives its young participants a “boost” to support development of important STEM skills utilizing fun, hands-on coding activities. BoostKids also hires and trains high school students to teach, mentor and inspire younger students through creative problem-solving.  We believe these experiences will lead young learners to try and succeed in more STEM classes throughout high school and beyond.

Sweet Connections was awarded Hulafrog’s Most Loved Awards of 2015 in the two categories of “Birthdays: Party Places” and “Eats & Treats: Ice Cream!”  We also received the award for Most Loved Ice Cream Parlor in 2014!
